Ruffles & Rust ~ 10/22/11
I loved attending the Ruffles & Rust show today~so many smiling faces and gorgeous booths to see! I was on the hunt for a couple of ornate pedestal urns to set on each side of my gate I recently purchased at Second Saturdayz. I was really good about staying focused! My favorite booths are those that cater to gardening folks like myself. One booth in particular, “Pine Creek Farms” out of Monroe Washington…has to be at the top of my list (this time!).
I adored the real grass in their booth and the mixture of both new and rustic décor…everything in there was just too cute for words! The sign that hung on the outside of the shed read “God made rainy days so gardeners could get the housework done” ~ So true for me!
Debi’s booth over at Garden Party was super cute! I fell in love with this cherub pouring out water in a galvanized tub! It was sold already by the time I found it, but lovely, isn’t it? Click on the photo’s to see more details in the photos.
I cannot remember what this fruit (bottom right) was called – but it was sure interesting! it looked like glass on the inside, but when touched – it was squishy!
I stopped by Circle Creek Home to say hello as well…they always have the most fun pieces in their booth…& loading these pictures reminded me that I forgot to grab some more of my favorite soaps that they make – but I must have got lost in the world of eye candy!
The Ruffles & Rust set up was amazing this time, the booth owners really outdid themselves! I think I walked around at least five times up and down each isle so I didn’t miss a thing, but still saw new items I hadn’t seen before each time I walked thru. Haley’s Cottage, My Sweet Savannah, Ormolulu, Bountiful Home, JohnBob Cool Junk, Poppyseeds, Cranberry Cottage, Re-Feather Your Nest, Lingering Legacy and so many more fabulous folks were there to provide me with lot’s of tempting items! Take a peek…
I sure hope you enjoyed peeking through all these fabulous photo’s! I will do another post in the next couple days to share with you what I brought home with me…To see what I am linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label…xoxo, tracie

This makes me wish I had more open shelving to display little treasures I have kicking around the house. I flip flop between wanting things out, and wanting them tucked away for a cleaner look. Maybe there is something to this whole Gemini twin thing!
