Ruffles & Rust Finds…
I know you are so excited to know what I brought home from Ruffles & Rust! I posted about the show earlier this week – if you missed it, please click here to go back and see!
From Bountiful Home, I picked up this fabulous zinc pitcher…I’ve seen them before but never found one that was affordable to bring home here. It’s dented and rusted and whitewashed…all good things for the décor here at Fishtail Cottage.
At a booth called “Annie’s”, I found this darling sign for my kitchen…for above the pass through!
Also found in Annie’s booth an old rusted tool box tote and a roughed up galvanized bucket – because I can always find a place for these items!
But my favorite find of the day was these gorgeous cast iron urns..remember, I told you I was good at staying focused on finding some for the fireplace? and I did… aren't they beautiful? The fact that they have pedestals to accompany them was a bonus in my book!
But when I brought them into my home and set the on each side of my rusty gate…I decided they were not the right fit…its just a little too much, don’t ya think!!!???!!!
Thanks for coming by to see what I found at Ruffles and Rust on 10/22/11! If you have any suggestions about the fireplace ~ please do share! Hugs. To see what I am linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label…xoxo, tracie

I also love the pitcher and that sign is great! xo Diana
The urns are fabulous...I'm sure you will find the perfect place to put them if you don't leave them by the fireplace!!

Thanks for sharing!
Love those urns ~ the rosettes are so pretty.
I've been out of touch and am trying to reconnect with some favorite blogs.
Ciao,

Thanks for linking to 2nd Time Around!

I agree that the urns are a bit too much, and wonder if they might be a better fit if you removed the plants and filled them with a seasonal collection that was more round - pinecones and nuts this time of year, coloured balls for Christmas, something topiary in the summer - you could have some fun!
