Today we were finally able to start moving the furniture into the Guest Suite! I must admit when I began pulling out some of the accessories that I’ve been collecting for the room, I had to laugh. So many I’ve Somewhat hysterical that I have so many charming touches to bring into the room yet, the room hadn’t even been completed!
I’ve only got one area of the room situated so far. The dresser (night stand) sits so cozy in one corner of the room. The drawers will sit empty so that when our guests are here, they can unpack and use the drawers for their clothes.
I want to keep everything somewhat simple in the Guest Suite so that my friends and family don’t feel overwhelmed with ‘clutter’. A sweet vintage glass lamp sits next to where the bed will be…I would like to find a little taller lamp, but in the mean time ~ this one works perfectly!
Placing flowers in the room, sure made a difference in how cheerful this little corner is! Loving this bread box I picked up at Ruffles and Rust Spring Show – I placed the pink hydrangeas that I brought home from my dear friend Ashley’s 40th Birthday Party. There is a lot of light in this room so I am hoping these flowers will be happy here!
Hoping to share more of this room with you this week. So much to get organized! To see what else I am linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label…xoxo, tracie
