Ruffles & Rust visit…

Recently I was out browsing Ruffles & Rust in Snohomish Washington.  I love shopping out in Snohomish, but Ruffles & Rust would have to be one of my most favorite stores to visit.  I have been looking for a couple unique lamps for the Guest Suite for both the desk and nightstand (dresser).  These two sweet and unique lamps that I found at Ruffles & Rust are exactly what  I’ve been looking for.

This one I believe will be so pretty on the nightstand ~

This one will be perfect for the desk ~

I didn’t want to have ‘matching’ lamps in this room, as it seems every piece that I’ve planned to use is unique in its own way ~ which I am hoping will bring so much charm to the room.

Oh, have I mentioned that I am just getting so excited to move all the furniture in and see the final outcome with it all put together!

To see what I am linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label…xoxo, tracie

They are BOTH Darlings! I agree with NOT having them match! I have noticed LOTS of wonderful lamps lately at GW. "I have been SOOO TEMPTED"...but I don't have a need at the moment "SO" I try very hard to IGNORE THEM!
Have a fun week,
Big Hugs,

Love the quilted effect on the first lamp - gorgeous beside a bed. And you are right - two the same would have been too matchy matchy. The desk lamp is my favorite style of all time. I need to get me one for my guest room.

Your lamps are so sweet. I'm not into matching, either. Anxious to see your whole room put together.

I loved all of the wonderful shops in Snohomish,Tracie! I could spend hours at Ruffles & Rust! Love your lamps, and I especially like that they are each unique and not "matchy-matchy"!

I found you thry Kathy at A Delightful Life -- your post got my attention because years ago we lived in Snohomish, WA. I just love the antique shops there and I always went to the Thursday night Farmer's market -- very lovely memories of that time of our life.

Your blog is wonderful and I am going to follow along :)

Blessings!

Both are very pretty and I'm anxious to see the completed room.
I love the 3 footed tea cup in the previous post too.
Tracie,
I just returned from Seattle. I attended my daughter's graduation from Med School. Time was short and filled with things we "had" to do. I wanted so much to come to Bothell for a visit and to see the Fishtail Cottage. I will be returning soon and will stay longer. I will be coming back in the spring of 13 to attend her wedding.
I had so hoped I could make time for a visit. Will make it happen on the next trip.

Your lamps are adorable. So shabby sweet! Love them. Maybe we could do "Second Saturdays" together.

Talk soon.

Hi Tracie, I love both of your lamps! I actually have been to Snohomish once. I was in seventh heaven and would love to return. 5 friends and I went to the Tulip Festival in Washington and hit Snohomish one day. Such a fun place!
Hugs,
Jann

I love old lamps like yours. I have one in my shop office space that is much like the first one...with that ruffled netting shade. So fun and vintage!
Oh I love the name of that shop. My Mother lives in Washington I should ask here if she's been there. xo
How pretty! I love old lamps too... and I must say, the white one is my favorite... it reminds me of a lamp my sister had years ago!
