Mercury Rising Rose

 

Mercury Rising is a beautiful tea rose bred by Meilland that I have placed just in front of the Arborvitaes on the East side of our backyard. This rose has struggled a bit getting established because of the root system of so many plants planted so densely together.  Although, I feel like keeping the towering trees around it trimmed and allowing more sunshine this year, it has proved itself worthy of keeping in its place. It has made a gorgeous cut flower in the garden and its scent is mild but fresh. Height can reach 6 feet tall and about 2 feet wide. Garden Zone 5-9
