My tea trade gift…




I’m having a Romantic Tag Giveaway on my blog…

My new friend Terri over at Artful Affirmations is the recipient of my Tea Cup Trade.  I took some time getting to know her on her blog.  I can tell you she is amazing at crafting!  She has tutorial video’s on how to accomplish her crafts yourself.  Even with these tutorials, I’m not sure mine would come out as fabulous as hers!!!  066

Terri has a beautiful tea cup collection that mostly stems from England.  She seems to know a thing or two about the history of her tea cups – so I tried to find one that came from England has has both stamped and written numbers on the bottom!

I searched and searched for the perfect tea cup!  I knew it needed to be floral and also needed to have gold trim.  When I saw this beautiful floral tea cup made me think of her right away. It’s got just the right of floral and color palette she seems to like as well.

039In her information she filled out she asked for a vintage napkin – I wanted to stay with something white because the pattern is a little busy!  I found this beautiful vintage napkin and wrapped it with a Martha Stewart ribbon for added charm!











I added a darling box of chocolate mints  and tea (not vintage) for her to enjoy with her new tea cup!

Of course all of these beautiful treasures couldn’t arrive in just a simple box, I found this lovely papered box with a magnetic enclosure for her to hopefully store some of her amazing craft necessities she creates.

I had to wait until she received her package to post this, as I did not want to spoil the surprise! I look forward to doing another Tea Cup Trade in the future!

Tracie how pretty! This would be so sweet to share at my tea party today. :o) I didn't think to use such a nice box. I was so anxious about making sure everything got super duper wrapped with bubble wrap. I love all the sweet things you sent your teacup swap partner. My box went out yesterday, so I'm waiting on pins and needles for mine to arrive now. :o) This was so fun!

I have not received my parcel yet nor has my partner received hers - takes much longer to travel from Canada to the US....but any day now!
