This little Tea Cup…

I’ll bet your surprised that I am posting a tea cup to share that is not a tea cup with three feet?  Believe it or not, I do have several others that are not with three feet.  This being one!

Darling little tea cup that I know nothing about…I wanted to share with you!  It is not labeled underneath and has no special markings.  But as sweet as can be & the colors to me are so unique.

This one came free with another purchase that I made – who can resist…”free”?

If you have any knowledge about this tea cup, please do share!

Oh this is a sweet cup! I love the colors and how the plate has "eyelets" on it. This type of lusterware is often made in Japan, but not always. I think it is gorgeous. I am always so partial to blue.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us. I hope someone who knows more than I do comes along and tells you about it.
Hugs,
Terri

Free is good....and in your case, very pretty! :D
It looks like something from the "occupied Japan" era, but since it isn't marked, who knows.

But it's always nice to have a cup of tea in a gorgeous cup :)

that's a beauty, Tracie! I have no idea what its provenance might be, but the colors look very French...
What a darling little tea cup! Don't you wish everything was marked so you could look it up...who know, but it is very pretty. And free, how nice!
Blessings,
Cindy

It is a lovely tea cup. I don't know anything about unmarked china but I would enjoy it just the same. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a nice comment. I became a follower. I am loving the silver bowls you are collecting. Gorgeous!

I love tea sets and this tea cup is darling. Blessings, Joanne
Hi Tracie, free is a very good price for a teacup! I have several teacups, and I hope to join some of the Tuesday tea parties soon. Several are from my husband's grandmother.
What part of Washington are you in?
I'm in WA too :).
Have a great week!

Tracie that is a gorgeous tea cup! One of the prettiest I've seen! I've seen something similar at the antique store in purple but don't know enough other than Japan comes to my mind too.
