Inspiration Frames for Cottage Den…

Every one of us needs a place to display what inspires us.  I would so very much like to create or own what I see on many of your bogging pages – but as you know most of what we see won’t really fit into our homes, backyards, or lives.  So in the midst of my Den Makeover – I found that because I am a visual person – having a picture to gawk at is the best way I can find what speaks to me. The inspiration of a picture creates a mood – a mood that attracts me to certain items, items I want to surround myself with.   Consequently – My happy place!

I found these frames on Pottery Barn. They came with out glass and wiring. I took the frames down to Michaels and they only charged $15. to put wire in all three frames. I know I could have done the wire myself – but I was afraid I would mess it up…these were a major completion of my décor in the den that I couldn’t risk ruining.

I searched so many places to find clips that were cute enough to display my pictures – finally found some at Ben Franklin – I was a happy girl that day! Couldn’t get anything to heavy for the wires, but strong enough to hold my important inspirations.

These inspirational pictures that I have clipped into my frames remind me everyday what mood I would want to create… Currently these frames hold upcoming antique show dates in my area and some sweet gift tags that I have recently received.  Also, I am working on an area of my garden that houses my chickens…so I have been searching books, blogs and websites to see what mood I want to create – I apologize if I have used one of your pictures to inspire me but not credited you for it…please email me and I will be sure to do so.  What can I say – you inspired me!

I plan to add more vintage frames with perhaps some vintage floral prints to go on this wall.  I’ll keep you posted…

I have a minor addiction to frames as well. I am always on the lookout to add them to our booth!

Thanks for stopping by and joining our giveaway. Fellow Washingtonians are always welcome, especially when we can commiserate about this NASTY weather we're having. Where is our soft gentle spring rain!

Good luck with the drawing and have a terrific week!

What a great idea! Love the oval frame, so unique. I may have to use a picture of all of your inspiration pictures hanging together as one big inspiration picture for myself! Does that even makes sense? :D

Cute idea, Tracie! I like the multiple wires stretched across each frame. They give you plenty of room for "inspiration"! ;)
