Rusty ‘ol thing…

015
Love this rusty find……found this for $35. at a garage sale – the owner couldn’t get I in my car fast enough.  I almost think I could have gotten it for free if I’d have asked.  It’s all rusted – but I love it….I put it behind my patio couch in hopes to cozy this space up this summer! A work in progress is what we’ll call it.  But I couldn’t be happier w bringing this sweet rusty ‘ol thing home.

Very cute piece- reminds me of the ones you see on the porches of old Victorian homes. Perfect! Hugs- Diana
Oh it is lovely...It is very similar to the heart shaped wall basket I got from a friend a week or so ago..same twisty wire and curves...I painted mine white and it looks gorgeous :)

Thanks Diana! I just saw one of these at the Antique Rose Farm (rusty just like this one) for $125...feeling happy about my purchase!!!

Hi Tracie
I have a soft spot for anything iron but have to admit I'm the first to paint everything I buy.
You got a great deal on this vintage looking piece.

Your tulips are pretty....I love how you snapped their progress. Amazing, isn't it?!

Have a great evening!

Sometimes old and rusty is just what you need for the garden or outside. I once bought a moss covered bench for five dollars at a yard sale, I stuck in the garden and didn't change a thing.
