Cottage Garden Pots…

Cheerful weekend filled with gardening duties here at Fishtail Cottage!  I am loving any chance to get out in the dirt after this very long winter…So funny looking back at plants that were blooming last April haven’t even budded out yet – is this happening to you too?

So I picked up some beautiful plants to fill up my garden pots this weekend and barely had the car unpacked before I anxiously got to work!  I hauled up all my gardening pots that have been in storage and started.

I know it doesn’t look like much – but in a few weeks they will be filled with blossoms and beauty!

I know it doesn’t look like much – but in a few weeks they will be filled with blossoms and beauty!  I’m in the process of working on cozying up the outdoor living space as well as the chicken coop area!  Here is a sneak peek at what I made for the new coop space!

Josie & Daisy have no idea what they are in for…going to be a sweet treat when I am through!

I love your pots! So classic. I am horrible about forgetting to water the plants in pots, so I usually just leave my pots empty. Looks better than seeing something dead in them!

Love the weathered stone look. Show them to us after they've all bloomed up!

This visit is so enjoyable, I've added you to my reading listI enjoyed my visit so much I your cottage with garden to my reading list.
Your chickens are cute!

Love the square pots and the round-ish one that has the edges. I mostly grow veggies in very plain containers, but I'm always looking for interesting pots to showcase the flowers in my front yard.

Welcome to Bloomin' Tuesday! Love all your pots. I don't do too many because I don't like to water them. Jean

You have everything going in the right direction. It will be even more appreciated once it all gets in full bloom.

I feel exactly that way about my pots and plants put in this weekend. I can't wait to see them fill out and spill over the sides of their containers. Your chickens are so sweet. We have silkies.
