Coop update…

Sooooo…I am patiently awaiting the weather to cooperate to start the coop makeover. School functions and end of the year activities have been keeping me from getting completed…but I know you are so curious as to what is happening. Miss Daisy & Miss Josie have been so busy bringing sweet chicks into the world that they have yet to get as excited as me! Below is some goodies that I’ve found and brought home in hopes of incorporating into the décor. Right now all the materials for the expansion are still wood colored so the photo’s are not very exciting – so you have to close your eyes and try to imagine a white picket fence surrounding the newly revamped coop…different locations of where the chickens can wonder, a little ‘Martha’ mixed in with some ‘Rachel’…

Thanks for the fun peek into your garden.
They are all so cute! How great that they'll be getting a revamp of their home. Can't wait to see more. You have got a lot of great stuff to add to the mix. It will look fabulous I'm sure!

Love, love, love those benches! I keep looking for some, but they are never authentic! Love them!
It will be a palace for those hens... or at least a cottage :)

Love the baby chicks. If I was one of your kids, I'd be begging to keep one too! Even though I'm an adult, my family tells anyone who will listen when I'm near an animal not to offer it to me because I'll want to take it home!

I'm also loving those benches. Not sure if you are going to paint them or not, but I think they would look stunning with a little shabby paint on them!

I adore those bird houses! The benches are fabulous! Did you say "end of the year" school activities? Are your kids just getting out now for summer? I teach, and will be heading back to work next week, with students a week after that. I've had seven weeks off, so I'll be ready to head back. Happy White Wednesday!
