Fishtail Cottage Patio Reveal…
So excited to share with you our “Patio Reveal” here at Fishtail Cottage. I’ve been teasing with you flea market finds in hopes of bringing character and charm to my out door covered patio for the past few months… Now that everything has found it’s place I am now ready to show you the full reveal and up-close details of what has become of the patio.
Walking out to the patio has two entrances. French Doors coming from either the Great Room or the Dining area of our home. So it was important to me to have the patio be an extension on these two rooms. I did keep some of our furniture outdoors, but replaced some of the pieces to bring in the aqua color and more white to the space.
This is where I enjoy my coffee every morning! I see the beauty of the gardens and enjoy watching my Chickens roam the gardens along with the feathered visitors of hummingbirds, goldfinches, and many songbirds visiting the bird feeders. These wrought iron furniture was purchased from Ballard Design a few years ago & this sweet table was found at TJ Maxx a few months back.
These fun finds were found at the Retreat Vintage Market – love the functional touches it brings to the patio.
I enjoy bringing the garden flowers into anything that might resemble a vase to enjoy more fragrance on the patio!
The cabinet below came from Ruffles & Rust Square in Snohomish and the Mirror came from My Sweet Savannah. Sweet accessories came from Farm Chicks in Spokane.
The centerpiece of the patio is of course the fireplace! I found this gorgeous 100 year old church window frame from Ruffles & Rust Square Grand Opening in Snohomish. Ormolulu is the vendor & I couldn’t be happier with the way it looks above the fireplace. I adorned the area with a painted terracotta planter filled with Petunia's and on each side sits an ornate terracotta pillar that seem to only add to the character of the patio.
At Pier One I picked up a couple citronella filled candles which continue the old world charm character I hoped to bring to the patio area (complete with a fleur-de-lis emblem) .
And I couldn’t possibly forget to bring in some cottage goodies for Charlie ~ he now has a matching pooch bowl and collar that matches the patio décor!
I hope you enjoyed coming over and seeing the long awaited reveal of Fishtail Cottage’s Patio Makeover. Please do visit my link parties on the side bar to see where I am linking up to this week!!!! xoxo, Tracie
