July 11–15 in the garden…

This week in the garden…..lot’s coming and going, but such an array of beautiful colors to enjoy!

 046

My Strawberries are finally showing red!  I don’t have very much fruit and veggies out there in the cottage garden, but what I do have – is for the birdies!

077

Scabiosa flowers…light / dark purple mixed with white ones….so pretty planted with “The Fairy Roses”.

This hardy fuchsia has been transplanted from my Quail Creek Home then to my mom’s and then planted here at Fishtail Cottage.  It’s the only hardy fuchsia that has survived here.

Dianthus is always a fabulous cottage garden bloom to tuck here & there in the garden!

More Lily’s have opened up & shown their beauty this week!

042017

Last year I brought more yellow to the garden ~ it’s so lovely with the purples blooms I have in the garden!

Hydrangeas are starting to come out from hiding as well…I can't wait to share all of those blooms with you – but a sneak peak for now is what I’ll share. 034025

Sigh, the bee balm has finally arrived and blooming gorgeous red blooms.  I put this in the garden three years ago and this is the first year it seems established enough to share its beautiful blooms!

The strawberries look like they are going to be delicious, Tracie!! Do you make anything with them? I was going to plant some this year and got side tracked. There is always so much to do. I'm joining your party this week...I hope I can link up. There was a glitch the last time. :-(

XO,
Jane
Your strawberries look delicious. My girlfriend had to replant hers. I haven't put any out in years, many years ago I had them and made Freezer Jams. That was one of the best Summers ever. hugs ~lynne~
Hi Tracie,
Wow, looks like your ready for a flora party! I had planted the same Monarda and it was coming along nicely and this year it disappeared!
Enjoyed all of your photos!

I recognize the coreopsis and gaillardia, but what's the last plant on that line?

Gorgeous photos btw. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful blooms! I am enjoying a large variety in my garden also. Every day I take a stroll to see what new garden surprises I encounter. I just bought a black Scabiosa. It's small, but unique. Always love seeing what's going on at Fishtail Cottage. I'm betting the birds love it too!

Your garden looks truly amazing Tracie, and these are such wonderful photographs of it!

Thank you for hosting Cottage Floral Thursday's!
Tracie those strawberries look good enough to eat, for people too!

Love your scabiosa... I only have one shade of purple but maybe I need to expand? Perhaps the white... I love white in the garden on dark, dreary PNW days.

Tracie, how beautiful your flowers look. The heat and my being absent from my garden is showing it's toll on my flowers. I love strawberries. I could eat them till they come out of my ears!
