I think I forgot what winter was about.. I lived mostly in desserts my whole life then 10 years in Central Illinois, no garden for about 6 months of the year.. Well, this week I lived the Florida garden season, planted many annuals, three new roses and did a bit of weeding... Winter is growing season here. Summer is when everything wilts. I do feel for you!
When it gets dreary there, come on down and visit my blog!
Happy Fall to you Tracey
Sandy
I can understand your thinking. For me, though, the end of gardening season means I needn't feel guilty about avoiding weeding! :)
(I do need to "put the garden to bed" this week.)

I am already missing summer!
Hi Tracey!

I am going to miss my garden too but I walked a lot of it today and much is looking really straggly and yellow. I have put off ripping the still hardy and happy annuals out of my pots and planters but looks like tomorrow might be my best day to switch the outdoor pots to a fall look.

Your garden is always so lovely.

xx
Have a nice weekend.

I still have plenty of garden work to do. I have gotten myself a bit behind, and the day has been so fallish with the leaves coming down more and more with each passing hour. It's sad but also pretty.
Hugs,
Ellen
I echo Sandy's invitation to visit...We in Florida still have a few more months yet.

Only yesterday I planted 100+ corn seedlings into the fall veggie garden, and today noticed a new batch of knock-out rose buds opening in the suitcase.

Need to find time to snap a few new photos of the garden for all my lovely northern blog buddies.

Ohhh.....I KNOW! I KNOW! I so agree, Tracey! My veggie garden is looking sad and verrry picked over, and although my roses are still blooming a little and my Jackamanii clemantis decided to bloom like crazy NOW (go figure, I miss the neatness and prettiness of my garden already. :(

Love the urn,it's gorgeous. Flowers are too. I know it would be hard not to have a garden in Winter. We are fortunate here to have flowers all year. xx
Hello Tracey, your urn of flowers is beautiful...love love love them!
