Vintage Wheel for The Cottage Coop…

While out browsing at antique stores I came across a fabulous a wagon wheel!  It’s a little smaller than what I hope to find – but thinking maybe ‘someday’ I can find another larger size to layer behind this one.  Thought this was just to sweet to pass up!

I just love the character this little wheel gave to The Coop area!

That is a cute wheel. You have a very attractive chicken coop I must say! Pamela

My husband's been looking for wheels like this... the only ones that we've found have been REALLY expensive! And we live in "farm country" so you'd think there would be a lot to pick from!

Lucky you... and lucky chickens!

I found a wheel like this in my barn, and quickly replaced the always-flat wheelbarrow tire with it.

The good news is it never goes flat; the bad news is I've created one very noisy mode of hauling. (The metal on metal squeals in a most mournful way.)
