First Day of Frost…

A double take was necessary when we saw white out our windows this morning! It was twenty six degrees outside when we woke up and what a perfect day to wake up to frost now that our home is decorated for the holidays!

With a light dusting of ice coating my roses, I had to snap a few photo’s to share with you!

and what looks like a sugar coating on my crabapples…

Just so grateful for the beauty we can find ~ if we just take the time to look!

What excellent captures! I am in love with each photo!!! I envy your fabulous keen eye.

We had our first unusually unexpected early snowfall Halloween week, now another due tomorrow. We've only had one hard frost thus far.

Have a beautiful week.
TTFN ~
Hugs,
Marydon

Those photos are wonderful. The flowers look like ones frosted with sugar that would be put on a cake.
No such blooms are evident here. Still waiting for some pretty snow to fall and stay...

Tracie, those frosty photos are beautiful. You captured them so well. We haven't had any flowers around here for a long time, but we don't have any snow either. I wish we would get just a little to cover up the brown.

I love love love the frosted roses pictures! It's just like you said...they look sugary and delicious. If only they were candies instead of flowers :) If you have time I'd love it if you'd stop by my site and follow along. www.forgottencompass.com

Hi Tracie! I can't believe that you still have so many gorgeous flowers blooming at this time of year! Ours all went away with our freak October snow. I wish they would last all year! Everything looked sugar dusted like you said - really pretty! Hope you are loving getting ready for Christmas and that you and your family enjoy a Merry one! Hugs, Leena
