A little shaker twist…

I was in a crafty mood today & thought I’d make more Shaker Jars with a fun twist!  Something a little different than I’ve seen. I tried paining a couple of the lids & added crinkled ribbons and embellishments ~ click on the photo’s below to see larger versions!  I can’t tell if they are “cute” because I made them, or because they really are “cute”!

Hi Tracie, Your jars are cute! I've been making these this year too. I made some for our winter show in November and just started my blog post on them this morning. I'm posting it in a few days. Do we think alike or what???!!
Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

They are so sweet - perhaps next year I'll be organised enough to try this! In the meantime I'll just enjoy yours.

these are really sweet, and i love the bit of bling near the top. i think the ribbon and lace are too stiff for something so small. perhaps if you tied a bow with flimsy ribbon and lace they would drape a little softer. i absolutely love this idea.
