Another Annie Sloan Project…
Last summer when making over the covered patio, I picked up this fantastic side table to use outdoors between my lounge chairs where the flagstone is. Loving the cheerful aqua color, don’t you? ….and it certainly looked lovely and was a perfect fit for out there!
But after buying the bird cage this past weekend I just posted about you – I needed a low table to set that darling cage for inside my home. So I decided to transform this little table into something for indoors. it had become a little sun warped and chippy from the elements outdoors – which made it all the more charming. I hosed it off and wiped it down and after drying in the sunshine for a bit, I did a light sanding to remove the chippy aqua paint.
Using what was left over from the desk and dog bed for the Guest Suite, I repainted using the Annie Sloan “old white” chalk paint that I bought from Hayley’s Cottage. it turned out beautifully!
It looks as though this all meant to be here! makes such a statement in the room don’t you think?
I am loving the statement it makes in the room.
Appreciate you coming over to see my latest project here at Fishtail Cottage! To see where I may be linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label (on my side bar)…xoxo, tracie

Wow! Lovely table. From outdoor to indoors. I think its much nicer that its indoors. It suits in the interior and with the bird cage.
