Another Bird Cage…

I know, I know, your giving me the same look my ‘honey’ did when I told him the news…i found another bird cage!  Seems crazy to bring home another bird cage.  I wonder why I cannot have enough of them in my home.  You’d think getting rid of a few might be a good idea & okay, I’m kinda thinking about it…but only a little!

481343_3732493002365_1711203569_n[1]Yesterday, as I was walking Hayley’s Cottage, French Inspired flea market in Kirkland Washington and loving all that I saw.  The weather here is finally beautiful and there were so many fantastic goodies in each and every booth. However, the one thing I wanted most was technically not for sale, or at least I thought it wasn’t, until I asked.

Over five feet tall and two feet wide stood a gorgeous bird cage outside of Hayley’s Cottage.  So I asked if I could buy it (birds and all) and she said ~ yes!  I myself was over the moon, but my family thought I was nuts. lol

003I couldn’t be more happier to bring this darling piece home and add my own birdie inside (after a few hours of the birds chatting back and forth of course)! They all seem to be very happy together and loving the scene outdoors.  Lot’s of chirping going on…

004I now am on the hunt for a low sitting table to sit the cage on, so it’s off of the floor but can be somewhere in the center of our home! I’m sure you will be hearing from me about my perfect find and where the birdies end up.

Thanks so much for coming over to see what I found this weekend at Hayley’s Cottage Flea market

Now THAT is a birdcage! I don't know if I would have been able to pass it up either- xo Diana
The bigger the better when housing real birds1

It's a beauty!
This post speaks to my heart. I used to breed cockatiels! I once had 15 birds in my home! Now I am down to one mean parrot! The cage is wonderful and the parakeets are sweet. Great find!

Jane

This is really more of an aviary, right? I love it. Will you keep it indoors?

Wow - what a terrific birdcage! The one thing I would have love to have bought is that poster advertising the sale - would frame it and hang it, it's so cute.
I have never seen one that big that is CUTE -- the big ones are always just . . . big. This is definitely a show piece not to mention a luxury condo for your feathered friends!

Tracie,
I see you have a bit of a weakness for birdcages. This one is a beauty.
