Update on my Junkin Find…

Last week I shared with you my New Junkin Find. I’m so excited to let you know that I have completed painting the inside.  First using what was left of my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint ‘old white’ from the projects I did for our guest room (remember the desk and dog bed?) Anyway, after half way through I ran out of paint, and couldn’t find any more Annie Sloan paint locally…and I of course couldn’t wait to finish it.  So I headed to Home Depot this am to see if I could find something comparable that I could use to finish painting the inside of this cabinet.  I lucked out that they were able to match it perfectly!  Don’t you think it looks so much better (cleaner) and ready for storing items now?

Oh man, this is one great piece. It is such a great cabinet with so much charm! I have "matched" Old white, and have used it this way too. I can't wait to see how it looks in the room your are placing. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with Sunday’s Best – you helped make the party a success!
