Week Seven of our Great Room Remodel…

So the hardwood floors sat over the weekend and this week the paneling under the buffet was installed.

I was given the green light to start moving into the room ~ so no sooner than when our contractor left, was I unpacking boxes and arranging my knick knacks on the shelves.  I still have a lot to do and am seeking a little help from a friend to come over and help with ‘placement’ on the shelf's, but it feels so nice to walk in and see a little life in the room.
Please enter without any plastic in the way!

The curtains are hung and a few furniture pieces are in place.  Awaiting the arrival of the new couches.

Television will be set up this upcoming week!

This is my favorite part of the room…the new faux fireplace mantle adorned with some holiday festive décor.  The leather chairs sure make it a cozy space to sit and relax!  Do you spy those frames I shared with you here?  I love the way they look in the room…

It's looking great, Tracie! (I'm finally on my computer so I can comment ;-0 )
I really love the hardwood floors, we did our whole house in hardwood and tile several years ago now and I can't imagine having carpet in these high traffic areas now. Your hardwoods are just beautiful. I love the chippy white frame wall. Love seeing all of the progress!
