I am certainly missing time in my garden ~ but now that we have completed our great room, I think I have enough light coming in to grow a couple of house plants…these Red Amaryllis and Paper white bulbs are so fantastic for blooming at Christmas time!

I love to have some forced bulbs in the house at this time of year and soon will have hyacinths. Yours look lovely - nothing beats red and white at this time of year. Merry Christmas!

Love the paperwhite (just hate the smell) - have a box ready to plant up in early January so that there's blooms in the depth of winter. Right now I have three amaryllis blooming - Red Lion, my favorite variety.
