Nasco Del Coronado Three Footed Tea Cup…

IMG_1165

IMG_1160It’s been awhile since I shared with you about my Three Footed Tea Cup Collection.  Not because I don’t want to, it’s just they are becoming so difficult to find!  In fact, whenever I go thrifting ~ it’s always a fun hunt to see if I can even find one while I’m out these days! For Christmas my sweet and thoughtful momma gave me this NASCO Del Coronado Label from an estate of one of her friends parents. IMG_1162 I feel so honored that her friend trusted me with such a special heirloom from her family!

This beautiful Three Footed Tea Cup was added to my collection over the holidays and its beauty is incredible.  The original foil sticker is still affixed to the bottom of both pieces, which tells me that it has only ever been on display.  IMG_1163

Such a pretty floral design with bright hues of fuchsia, white, yellows and greens.  Gold edges and a pretty design on the inside of the cup and on the saucer.  Both the feet and the handle has very intricate details.

What a pretty teacup. I have seen a couple of 3 footed ones at the antique store in town. Very pricey. Have a great week.

I love 3 footed tea cups. I gave one to a friend's mother for Christmas and she was thrilled. I still have a couple of my own. When I see one cheap, I buy it but they are hard to come by.
