Storing my Earrings…

Organization is always something I strive to perfect!  It’s always evolving into what works for me and the needs are consistently changing here at Fishtail Cottage.  This past Christmas I was lucky enough to get some of my wish list of items from Tippy Stockton Jewelry!

IMG_0890Here is where you can see more organization of my closet! I honestly only began wearing jewelry within the past year, as when you have little kids ~ it doesn’t make sense.  I remember people telling me, when your kids are older, you will start…I just never saw myself as a jewelry person!IMG_0893
But, guess what…they were right!  I don’t have a jewelry box or any fancy jewelry, just fun costume stuff that I can change out!  When I was unpacking my new goodies, I wanted to figure out how to store my earrings without buying something to store them on.  So, while laying in bed last night…I thought of this idea using the hole pegs in my closet with some twine tied to both ends.

It displays them perfectly for easy access ~ but not too much fuss.

Another good way to display earrings is putting a piece of screening into a picture frame. I like yours too. xo,Susie

What a great idea, Tracie, and it looks so cute! I have a couple of those jewelry trees...they really help if you take the time to hang your things back up!! lol!

Love the idea! And by the way, crushing on your turquoise earrings big time! I'd try this with my extensive collection because been having trouble storing them properly.

By the way, let me know if you'd like to follow each other. Also, I've updated with a new post on my newly purchased 6-set stud earrings :)

Also liking your new header and layout - nice change.

Cute idea! I just made a little something to hang my favorite necklaces on for my room... kind of trying to finally get it all together.

And I'm just a "cheap" kind of jewelry person too... lucky for me that silver is my favorite... much cheaper than gold!
