Flowers and Cupcakes…

I attended a ‘girlfriends dinner’ over the weekend ~ the highlight of my night was hearing my dear friend, Ashley’s laughter!  Seeing daisy’s are finally in the store, scream SPRING! So I snatched these cheerful flowers up to bring to her…

…the simple large tin can embellished with ribbon and a card from The Porcelain Rose always makes gifting so much prettier!

Another sweet friend Tressa, brought these amazing and scrumptious cupcakes!  If you are local to Seattle, you’ll have to check out her website tressasbakery.com ~ especially if you are looking for a cake for a wedding, birthday, or just any upcoming party…she made my nieces wedding cake a few years ago and we still get comments about how deliciously outstanding it was!

and of course, I couldn’t help but share this darling sign I photographed months ago at Ben Franklin (I  have it framed and sitting in my great room)…so cute!

I remember reading Ashley's story when you posted it and directing both of my daughters to read it.
The pink cupcake quote is fine by me.

daisies really are such a "cheerful"bloom. the way you simply embellished the tin can just makes them that mush more cheerful. those cupcakes look soo yummy! i am happy you enjoyed your dinner.....hearing laughter. feeds the soul.
Sounds like a fun evening with great friends and yummy treats! Love daisies! They really make me think of spring and summer! Hugs, Leena
I know you have to know how much I love daisies...they are about the only successful plant I have grown in my lake garden! These are so pretty and such a nice gift.

The cupcakes look delicious! Now, if I could make one that pretty!

Daisies are so cheerful! The cupcakes look sinful, Tracie. I had a girlfriend's dinner about two weeks ago, and I look forward to getting together with my friends again!
What a fun time. The daisies in the florist buckets are great and the cupcakes look so tasty! Glad you had so much fun!
