Snow day…

At 5:30 this am our phone rang…it was our school district calling to let us know that school will be starting two hours late today due to a small accumulation of snow! I anxiously awaited for enough light to show outside so I could go out and snap a few photo’s before it all melted.

A layer of white makes this time of year, so much more festive!

The little bit of snow we received makes everything so pretty! I can imagine the fun you had with your camera - I love the photo with the gate as a frame.

Your house is always gorgeous, but dusted in show it is spectacular.
Hi Tracie,
So beautiful!!! I remember walking to elementary school and by the time I got there, my knees were bright pink. Much easier on everyone now that there are snow days! :)
I just started following you... and will be sure to check out the links you've shared, as I'm just getting my blog going.
Happy day to you & yours,
Lin

That is just gorgeous!! I so want a little snow for Christmas but Tennessee just usually doesn't get it. Thanks for sharing the beauty at your home.
Your place looks beautiful covered in snow. The gate and fence at the front are a favourite of mine to see at any time of year.
Merry Christmas.

Tracie,
Beautiful photos!
I was up in middle of night and watched it snow. You could see the snow glisten in the light of the street lamps. I love the beauty of the snow before it is disturbed.
Wanted to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.
Luv, Luv,
Elizabeth
