Hello Chalkboard…

Sometimes when we are browsing flea markets and thrift stores, rarely do we come across something that is considered real. You know that ‘something’ with character!

Repurposing can sometimes make something old new again, but the real thing…that real piece just can’t be duplicated.  Take for example this old frame…chalk board paint replaces the blank board that was originally adhered to the frame. Yet aged appropriately.

That my friends is what catches my eye.  So this Hello Chalkboard was brought home and placed in the kitchen ~ mixed along with newer pieces ~ I found it to bring such warmth to the room.

What do you think? love it, hate it?

Stopping in from sweet and simple.... And I love the picture frame. The mirror hanging in our entry has the same story....found it at a sale and just cleaned it off and hung it on the wall... Perfection!
Love it. As a matter of fact I have one just like it! xo Kathleen
