12 Gifts for Gardeners ... Day #8

Two years ago, Maria at Dreamy Whites introduced me to Wintersteen Farms Wreaths when I won a giveaway from her blog. Wintersteen Farms is a 36 acre noble and douglas fir tree farm in Oregon. The wreaths are hand crafted from start to finish. Because of that experience, the Wintersteen Farms Wreaths have been a 'must have gift' here at Fishtail Cottage!  I know it sounds funny, but when this box arrived at my doorstep yesterday, I was giddy with excitement!

First it's the packaging..Each wreath is placed in their signature brown box after being packaged in a crystal clear bag, wrapped with tissue paper and tied off with your choice of ribbon. its just so beautiful wrapped with a heartfelt message and care card!
As you unwrap the packaging you can smell the evergreen that clearly scream "Christmas time" and the weight of the healthy greenery is like no other that I have ever felt before. Wintersteen Farms Wreaths are made with fragrant noble fir, blue berried juniper and cedar incense, topped off with ponderosa pine cones which is why it smells so delicious! It is definitely freshly cut as they say on their website and packaged with personal pride and care!

I've never hung anything on my front door, I am afraid to put a nail in the wood, and don't have an over the door hanger on hand, so I decided to put the wreath on my front gate entry way this year. Isn't it a welcoming site when you walk up to my home? I have garland strung along the entire picket fence and I think the wreath is a perfect addition to my gate!

Isn't this a wonderful annual tradition to start?
Who would you send this wreath to? A family member? A client? A neighbor?  Would love to hear from you who you would send a Wintersteen Farms Wreath to?
