Fishtail Cottage's Christmas 2016... #6

Our family room seems to change more than my wardrobe....I think its because we spend so much time in this room as a family, it just feels good to change things around as much as possible.  As I've mentioned in my previous posts I really just want the simple feeling the Christmas in our holiday decorating by just using natural garland and plants wherever possible is the look for my home that I am trying to accomplish this year.  So in this room, splashes of reds and whites seem to bring in just the right amount of color to make it cozy for this time of year. 

 

I just recently found this "Twas the night before Christmas" sign and couldn't pass it up, even though I had no idea where i'd put it in the house, I think it found the perfect spot in front of our shutters.
