Spring 2020 in the garden...

It's been such a beautiful spring here at Fishtail Cottage. We've been in quarantine for the past six weeks which has given me ample time in the garden to give love and nurture absolutely every single plant I have in the landscape. Honestly, I do this every year, but this year has been just a little bit extra. I certainly enjoy my garden walks (sometimes twice a day) to see how everything is coming along and if there are any changes that need to be made. I am currently awaiting so many peony and rose blooms, but have had so much in the garden already bloom and leave me until next year.  I've been posting most of these blooms on both Facebook and Instagram, but realize I have been quite absent here on blogger to share this years garden with you...So I'll start with some of my earliest spring blooms.

The blooms of Snow Drops have got to be the earliest and most beautiful of the spring buls. I love that they are left alone by the wildlife and pests. Easy to love and just enjoy.

Next are some lovely Hellebore flowers - my favorite Hellebores are from the Winter Jewels collection...

Tulips and Daffodils...

Camellias...

Here are a few other spring bulbs and perennials...

Thank you for coming over to take a peek at what is blooming so far this spring.  I'm super excited to share with you a few landscape photos with what is blooming in those spaces.

 xoxo,
Tracie

Your gardens are absolutely gorgeous! Your careful nurturing is really paying off and I believe a great way to get through these trying days. I’ve been in my gardens more, too. They’ve never been this cleaned and mulched this early! Stay safe and healthy! Zenda

I totally agree with you. This year was a bit awful; however, it given us more time that we could devote for our passions. I have also spent more time in my garden which led to many plants grow better and better. I have also to say that your garden looks amazing. Where do you usually buy flowers? Lately I have bought flower seeds on https://gardenseedsmarket.com/garden-flowers-en/ and they were (and some of them are still) growing really amazing.
