Three feet…

A new find for my collection of Three Footed Tea Cups!  This mostly white tea cup is decorated with pretty little pink roses and pretty green colored stems!  Loving the painted gold accents that is still very prevalent on this tea cup and saucer!

An extra special feature about this set is that they are numbered…most of my collection is not marked on the bottom of neither the cup or saucer! I did a little research to find out what these marking meant and couldn’t find anything online.  Someday I hope to learn more about my collection of tea cups! But for now, I’ll just enjoy them!

So very pretty! I collect the same pattern, most are called Moss Rose. I don't have any teacups with the little feet, though!

Hello Tracie,
I am so glad to visit you today. Your newest three footed cup is totally gorgeous! The rose pattern and gold trim make it quite classy. The fancy handle and feet are fab too. Great find! I wish I knew about the numbering but I am afraid I do not. Maybe Martha will know?
Thank you for sharing it with us : )
Hugs,
Terri

Beautiful piece!

I don't know if it applies to your cup, but in some of my research for my collection I found that such numbers like those you show are tied to internal factory references. I've yet to have any luck locating any correlating info to any of the numbers on my teacups :-( But if ever I do I'll be sure to let you know where I located the numeric reference!

Right now I'm trying to locate history and/or info on a square footed teacup (n saucer). It's the 1st I've seen of that design.

I think the mystery and research is half the fun of each and every cup n saucer, lol

Thanks for sharing
