Our tree…

Our tree is glittered with memories that make me smile inside!  Some handcrafted ornaments made by my children, some are even made by me.  Some were given to us to represent someone special or an event that deeply impacted us in the most unforgettable way. I try to share stories with the kids as to why certain ones are so special.  I love unwrapping so many special pieces that mean so much me and teach my children to appreciate them as well…and hopefully they will find some of these on their own tree someday!

You are probably wondering why I have this antler under the tree?  I keep it here to keep my little Shih Tzu pooches out from under here!  so far it has worked fabulously!

Here is little Sophie in her bed laying next to the tree!

So pretty, and your tree is so beautiful. I don't know what it is but I am NOT good at decorating our Christmas tree? I don't know why, just that I'm not...but you are!

Tracie, I love trees that evoke memories! Our kids grew up with a tree just like this. When they married they each took their ornaments and now I just have a few that are old and hold memories for me and hubby. Like the little mouse couple in a toadstool that my mil gave us the first year. Thanks for sharing with Creating Christmas.
hugs,
Jann
