Clearance Plants….
You’ve seen ‘em – the poor plants that have already had their “pretty” days? The bulbs that have already bloomed and begun to wilt? If you are ever going to get such a deal on next years garden – now is the time!
I love buying and planting bulbs in the fall, but if you are anything like me, you cringe wondering if you just dug into the ground where another bulb already existed? So, in some gardens – this is the way to go. To buy fully bloomed potted bulbs to plant amongst your current sprouting bulbs. There is not guess work!
These are the plants you should be looking for this time of year. I picked up the 6 pots of flowered daffodils above for just $2.75 each. Each pot has about 5 to 6 flowering bulbs to offer. Which means if I plant these 35 bulbs throughout the garden – I will have a wonderful spread of daffodils to view (because their clumps only grow in size!)
Join me for Cottage Flora Thursday’s (should be up in a bit). To see where else I am linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label…xoxo, tracie

My 4 butterfly bushes I got last yr for $1.50ea are now near 4 ft each...I would share photos today but we have yucky thunderstorms all day again today.
Great deal on the bulbs.

I've planted them right in the garden at this stage and other times kept the bulbs until fall.
