Cabinet for the Guest Suite…
Last week I shared with you the beginning thoughts of creating a Guest Suite here at Fishtail Cottage…Funny to admit that already, I have changed my mind about a few things. I have taken the yellow away and turned toward the blue’s.
Reason being, it that I found a fantastic chippy cabinet on Craigslist. A lucky and unique find! This Cabinet I will use use as storage for linens in my guest suite. It stands 68 inches tall 30 inches wide and 13 inches deep.
The color itself looks to be a greyish blue color. The inside is definitely a robins egg blue! The shelves for inside are adjustable, but set aside for now until I am in the process of moving the furniture into the room, so for now, I am just collecting and storing my finds in our garage!
Both sides of the cabinet are lined with a mesh which makes me believe it once was used for cooling pies. But it’s perfect for storing Linens here at Fishtail Cottage.
The hardware is adorable. They bring back memories of a cabinet my grandparents had in their guest room when I was young. I can’t wait to see how this room will progress within the next week!
