Farm Chicks 2012
It wasn’t figured out until 8 am on Friday morning that I would be lucky enough to attend Farm Chicks with my friend over at My Sweet Savannah and her darling cousin. The road trip to Spokane was beautiful! Without meaning to, we took the long route, but the scenery was incredible! Our first stop once in Spokane was dinner at Chaps…I was overwhelmed with meeting other bloggers and new friends that evening! The atmosphere at Chaps is just incredible with an unimaginable amount of unique rustic charm throughout the entire restaurant, the live band playing out doors and the fun girls at our table also in town for Farm Chicks made the night so enjoyable!
Saturday morning came early and stood in line to endure pouring rain until the doors opened at 8:30am…but who really cared, right? We couldn’t wait to get ourselves inside those doors and hunt for treasures! I had my list in hand and the three of us girls went our own ways to shop the booths. Regretfully, I did not bring my camera to the show…I wanted my arms free for shopping! I did however take pictures last night so I can share with you my fantastic finds!
These adorned Bell Jars were purchased at Reclaimed Charm’s Booth. At first I though ~ oh, I so could make these…but reality hit, and I figured it was just as easy and probably less expensive to just purchase the! I would love to someday be able to hang them from a tree near my patio, lit with candles…sigh!
Roost Reimagined had so many fabulous hand made items! I found this 90” round ruffled tablecloth that will be perfect for my round kitchen table when entertaining.
I was excited to find these two fantastic frames for the guest suite I’ve been working on. I purchased a fantastic blue bird print a few weeks back at the Ruffles and Rust show in Monroe that will be perfect for the larger one, and I just know I will figure out something great for the smaller one!
I found another fabulous old bucket that I will use as a garbage can somewhere in the house! Also came upon this handcarved cross that just had to come home with me too!
Love this Bobby Boyd Cross Necklace I bought from from Junk Salvation’s booth!
The three of us girls bought this fun key chain as a keepsake of our trip together!
This rustic leather bracelet and cross necklace from Lisa Souers, is what I picked up on the way out of the show. I can’t wait to wear it!
Couldn’t leave there with out gifts for the kids! My son has been wanting a large wooden ruler for a few months now and I was so happy to find this one to bring home to him! He was over the moon to receive it when I came home! The girls also were excited to receive necklaces from Lisa Souers!
What a fabulous weekend I had ~ the only disappointment was not finding a small rustic/crystal chandelier to bring home…so if you know where I can find one, let me know! Thanks so much for coming by to see my Farm Chicks treasures! xoox, tracie
