Framed and Displayed…

A few weeks ago I shared with you this post about my 1930’s Bluebird Calendars…well, I had them framed by McDowell’s U Frame it here in Seattle, and I cannot be more grateful as to how all four framed prints turned out.  The framers took special care with these vintage pieces and preserved them flawlessly under preservation glass.

After I brought them home, I first tried hanging two vertically on each side of the main window.  But after stepping back and taking a few days seeing them that way, I decided that all four needed to be displayed together. So much more charm this way!

So here they are, proudly hung on the wall together! The photo below, almost looks like a scene from an old movie…don’t you think?

They are lovely. The last photo looks like the set from one of the old B&W movies that I love - set in New England in a fabulous old Cape Cod with a Dutch door. (I could go on, but I think you get the idea!)
I think they came out beautifully. Just gorgeous.
