A few weeks ago, when my great room was being remodeled ~ Don my contractor brought in this piece of wood that had the schedule of flooring dates written on it for me to put in my calendar. I started using it as my coaster for my Starbucks coffee mug…it’s the perfect size, so why not. I painted it with some leftover paint in the garage from my cabinet I recently painted and put little rubber stoppers on it to protect the glass that sits on top of my desk.
But today when I started getting a little crafty, I snatched it up and used a postcard stamp and permanent ink to decorate it a little.
I may have overdone it somewhat with the stamps, but really, how cute is this? I am so excited the way it turned out! brings a little character to my desktop now…
