More Crepe Paper Christmas Trees…

I shared this Christmas Tree creation with you a few days ago ~ but with a few of them, I decided to give them as gifts!  If you missed that post click here! I adorned them each a little differently according to whom they were being given to!  This one is for a dear friend of mine who shares the same love as I do for “Oh, Holy Night”

I couldn’t decide which part of the verse I should put on the tree, but went with “fall on your knees” as it’s the line that makes my own heart sing!  I hope she likes it…

The smallest tree found itself in a peat moss pot for my sons teacher! I love the simplicity of how this one turned out and the “Merry Christmas” banner seemed to fit just perfect!

I sort of wonder if she will be thinking…”seriously? a craft from a parent”…when she probably gets so many handmade art pieces from her classroom children already! yikes, I hope she likes this!

And this one ~ is for my Aunt…she loves Christmas and I think she would certainly appreciate the time and thought that went into making this tree for her!

I know she will treasure and enjoy this tree for years to come!

What about you ~ do you love receiving a handcrafted item for Christmas, or do you prefer something more useful?  Would love to hear your thoughts…To see where else I am linking to this week – please check my “Cottage Links” label…xoxo, tracie

I am so glad that I became your reader! Your blog is a well of ideas! After reading your post 'teachers gift', I bought 12 sets of kitchen towels on Amazon (H&M doesn't have already the selection that you got)for all the teaches in HS who works with my twin boys. I wrapped each set in simple brown paper and attached pine cones and wooden gift tags from Michael's. It's all because of you! You showed that it's attention that matters! Next year, I'll try to make such trees. Thank you SO much, and Merry Christmas!
I think that these trees are adorable and anybody who receives one should be thrilled! They're wonderful decorations made from the heart - what's better than that? Oh Holy Night is also my favorite Christmas carol! I love to sing it and listen to it. It's so beautiful! Merry Christmas to you and your wonderful family! Hugs, Leena
