Tea Party Birthday…

So many of you commented on how much you loved and missed the idea of little girls tea parties…so I thought I’d share some pictures of my daughters 3rd Birthday Party, oh so many years ago…

This was in my Quail Creek Home. I so loved my tea room!  It was an off limits for play, but anyone was welcome to come and sit quietly and enjoy!

Her Birthday is during the month of December – so we always have to incorporate a whimsical Christmas theme….this room was full of romance!

I purchased this Dove Cage just before the birthday part to go along with the theme of the room!  Here are the birdies in the cage Joey & Jenna

This was the invitees….in their tea party attire!

This tea party began with a craft while we awaited for our guests to show…(she is so intense!)

A book reading of the “Lady Bugs Tea Party” is a must for all tea parties!

Then the tea party began….I believe there is more sugar in that tea cup than tea!

Only the fine china was used & the tea sandwiches & fruits were served!

I know it’s blurry, but please notice the hot pink nail polish – love little fingers like this!

Okay – so if you look carefully on the tree, you can see the teacup ornament?  This was their take home gift – each girl was able to choose one off of my tree & a few tea bags, silk gloves, boa’s & crowns to take home!

Choosing a tea flavor was the most difficult decisions for these little ladies!

Home made pink cake (of course)…for my princess!

This is one of the cutest pictures ever – she really looks like she is the star of the party!

A “Muffy Bear” is the perfect gift for a three old & a tea party!

Notice her beautifully crafted necklace she made?

Funny, those little goodies that make one feel beautiful!

Oh, how delightful! Pictures of my girls when they were that small flashed through my mind - wish I could go back and cuddle and smell their sweetness from that time! Now, we do have tea time - grown ladies sitting together and loving it! Thank you for sharing these wonderful pictures!

For some reason, when my oldest granddaughter was born, my interests didn't lie in tea parties and all that goes with them. I was a grams who had dogs and cats who were welcome to join the little girls at play outside on 5 acres. For fun with me, the girls and I danced to "Queen", "Fleetwood Mac and "Moody Blues." It was more of a group dance doing whatever our bodies called us to do. But with the friendship of another grandma, I now am so excited at the thought of tea parties with my great-granddaughter! I am not rushing her to get old enough to hold a cup, but I love the idea of it. Wonderful, sweet photos! Thank you for sharing.

Oh, can I come too please? It looks like so much fun and I would love to choose a teacup from the tree! The pink cake looks yummy too! Those little tykes are all so cute in their little frocks! I bet they all had a ball. Thanks for sharing such precious memories. And thanks for stopping by for tea with me.
